It is an end-to-end customer retention platform that brings together customer data and behavior from online and offline channels to launch and manage a revenue-centric retention program. Established in 2012, present in several countries in Southeast Asia. Our vision is to be the most impactful customer retention platform in the region. The Role: VP Engineer

  • Collaborate on key architectural decisions and design considerations to ensure high quality, scalability, maintainability, and resiliency
  • Actively recruit, hire, and retain excellent engineering talent
  • Define and shape engineering best practices
  • Work closely with the Product team to deliver a well-crafted, working product that creates real business value
  • Coach and provide guidance to senior engineering leaders on management and technical tracks
  • Ensure that the team is in alignment with business needs via OKRs or KPI, roadmaps, and constant feedback
  • Code review and contribution

The Candidate

  • 5 years of experience working in a production environment on a user-facing product
  • Has deep experience with modern technologies, architectures, and agile development
  • Proven ability and success creating a collaborative culture of innovation and technical excellence
  • Prior experience as Tech Lead
  • You have an executive presence and a willingness to make tough decisions with imperfect information.
  • You have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Values integrity, humility, creativity, confidence, open-mindedness, reliability
  • Results-oriented, tenacious, but with the ability to know when to push harder and when to look for alternative approaches
  • High energy and action-oriented with a history of getting things done in complex environments
  • You'll need to be up to date and able to contribute through code
