The Role: Junior Accountant

  • Responsible for and manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, including but not limited to cash reporting, accounts receivables, payables, employee expense claims and business disbursements, fixed assets, month end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation to produce accurate management reports within the Axinan group, ensuring completeness and reliability
  • making financial reports including cash flow, profit/loss statement, balance sheet reconciliation, budgeting, taxation, collections.
  • Review and recommend process improvement areas
  • Execute any tasks/projects as assigned

The Candidate

  • Minimum 1-2 years post qualification experience in performing full set of accounts and preferably, consolidation skills
  • Tech startup entrepreneurial environment background, ability to deal with ambiguities
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously
  • Positive working attitude and a desire to deliver quality work
  • Strong attention to detail, as well as being a problem solver who takes the initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Pivot, SumIf, vlookup
